Saudi Special Olympics
The Special Olympics was officially announced as being established in December 1968 in Washington, United States of America. The Olympic program began through research and activities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, led by Eunice Kennedy Shriver. In its early stages, the efforts included visits to various states to engage with families and to recruit qualified professionals in the medical field.
